Live Smart – Retire Rich:
10 Bullet Proof Ways Non- Money Experts Become Wealthy - By Daniel C. Goodwin
I wrote Live Smart – Retire Rich because I am alarmed for many Americans. While my team has galvanized many families and my own personal finances with the solid walls of planning, strategies, discipline and structure, I am keenly aware that in America most have not. According to statistics only two in five people are on track for a financially sound retirement. That means that approximately 180 million Americans are not, and will not be prepared. Far too many great people in this great land of ours are not ready for the future ahead of them. Too many of our countries heroes (men and women who served our military, teachers and law enforcement officials), will face dire financial circumstances in their golden years as living costs rise, investments falter, and incomes diminish. Too many parents are not empowered to teach their children money principles as we cannot give something away that we do not posses. Too many people quietly avoid going to that back corner of their minds where some vague questions may be lurking. Questions like:
1. Am I on the right financial path? Am I properly invested?
2. Will I outlive my money or worse become a burden to my children?
3. Have I kept up with the changes to our tax code? Do I understand their implications and affects on the quality of my retirement?
4. Am I meeting my stewardship responsibilities to personal finance and community?
5. Have I learned to have money work for me rather than me working for money?
6. Do I really understand the importance of cash flow, leverage, arbitrage, compounding, and other important money management concepts?
7. Am I one who is in a position to teach my children fiscal literacy?
8. Have I kept up my financial education over the years or outsourced this responsibility to others with dismal results?
9. Have I questioned my current advisors motives?
10. Do I have a personal money plan that provides peace of mind, clarity, synergy and accountability?
I wrote Live Smart – Retire Rich because I have read the personal financial statements, tax returns, credit reports, and investment statements of thousands of families over the past 20 years. I know what kind of shape we are in as a nation with personal finance. I know many of our families have negative savings rates and are in no way on track for the financial demands the future will hold. I know that most of the “over the counter” traditional financial planning and methods has failed millions of Americans.
Are you are part of the majority in America that needs some help with money? Are you are ready to open your mind and suspend your fears regarding personal finance? Do you want and need a plan? If your answer is yes, if you feel like you and your family deserve the future you once dreamed of, than I am honored and privileged to say that I have written this book for you! – Daniel C. Goodwin / President Goodwin Financial Group.
